Houthis Announce Targeting of Israel with Two Missiles and a Drone

The Houthi military spokesperson announced on Sunday that several Israeli sites were targeted in an attack involving both missiles and drones.

According to the spokesperson, Ben Gurion Airport in the occupied Yafa area was targeted with a ballistic missile.

Another missile reportedly targeted the Sdot Micha base and the Arrow (Hetz) missile batteries east of Ashdod, while a drone strike was launched on a military target in the occupied Ashkelon area.

Meanwhile, Israeli media reported that the U.S. THAAD (Terminal High Altitude Area Defense) system, which was deployed in Israel in October 2024, was used for the first time to intercept a missile launched from Yemen.
