Houthis: Dead and Wounded in U.S. Airstrikes on Al-Hodeidah

Yemen Monitor / Newsroom:
The armed Houthi group announced on Tuesday that there were casualties following a U.S. airstrike targeting a residential area in Al-Hodeidah Governorate in western Yemen.
The Houthi-run Al-Masirah TV reported in a brief breaking news: “Deaths and injuries resulted from a U.S. strike on the Amin Muqbil residential city in Al-Hawk District, Al-Hodeidah Governorate,” without specifying the number of victims.
On Monday, U.S. President Donald Trump stated that “US forces have successfully carried out strong and impactful strikes against the Houthi group,” adding that the US has been firm and successful in its operations.
During a meeting at the White House with Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, Trump noted that these operations had inflicted significant damage on the Houthis.
On March 15, Trump had previously announced that he ordered the U.S. military to launch a “major attack” against the Houthi group, later threatening to “completely eliminate the Houthis.”
