Houthi Media: Casualties in U.S. Airstrikes on Sana’a

Yemen Monitor / Newsroom:
The Houthi group announced on Sunday evening that several people were killed and injured in new U.S. airstrikes on the Yemeni capital, Sana’a, which has been under their control since September 2014.
According to the group’s Ministry of Health in Sana’a, three people were killed and six others wounded in a U.S. airstrike that targeted a residential neighborhood in the Shaoub area of the capital.
Earlier, the group had reported fresh U.S. airstrikes on Sanaa and Kamaran Island in the western province of Hudaydah.
Since airstrikes resumed on March 15, the US has carried out around 300 strikes, according to Houthi figures. As of last Wednesday, the strikes had reportedly killed 61 civilians and injured 139 others, according to a statement by the Houthi-run Ministry of Health, which did not mention military casualties.
Over the past two weeks, more than 30 Houthi officers have been buried, reportedly killed in what the group described as the “Battle of Sacred Jihad and the Promised Victory” under U.S. fire.
This escalation comes days after U.S. President Donald Trump issued a warning to the Houthis via the “Truth Social” platform, stating:
“If they do not stop attacking US ships, the real pain has yet to come — for them or for their sponsors in Iran.”
