Yemeni Center for Weather Forecasting and Early Warning has issued a warning to citizens, especially seafarers and fishermen, about active winds and rough seas in several provinces.
In a four-day marine advisory issued today, the center stated: “We warn our fellow citizens, seafarers, and fishermen in the provinces of Abyan, Aden, Lahj, Taiz, and Hodeidah.”
The warning also included rough sea conditions around Mayun Island due to strong winds, turbulent waters, the formation of rip currents, and rising tides that may cause seawater to reach unusual distances inland.
