New U.S. Airstrikes Destroy Communications Network in Central Yemen

U.S. warplanes attacked a communications network in Ibb province, central Yemen, at midnight Wednesday/Thursday, according to Houthi media reports.
Al-Masirah, the Houthi-affiliated TV channel, reported that US fighter jets carried out multiple strikes, including communications network on Nama mountain in Jiblah district, Ibb province, resulting in the death of one person.
The U.S. military has conducted several strikes on Houthi-controlled areas in Yemen in recent hours, bringing the death toll in the past 24 hours to six.
Houthi media reported that one person was killed in a U.S. airstrike in Ras Issa, Al-Salif district, in Hodeidah province, western Yemen. Additionally, four others were killed in strikes on Al-Mansuriyah district, southeast of the coastal province.
US forces also launched two strikes in Kitaf district, Saada province—the Houthis’ stronghold—and another strike on the Kuhlan area, east of Saada city.
Houthi officials stated that U.S. airstrikes have killed 63 civilians and injured 139 others since March 15.
The U.S. military has been conducting near-daily attacks in Yemen, as President Trump has vowed to “completely eliminate” the Houthis.
