Houthi Media: 4 Killed in U.S. Airstrikes in Western Yemen

Yemen Monitor / Sana’a / Agencies:
Suspected U.S. airstrikes hit Houthi-controlled areas in Yemen on Wednesday, with the Houthis reporting that one of the strikes killed at least four people near the coastal city of Hodeidah on the Red Sea.
Meanwhile, satellite images captured and analyzed by the Associated Press on Wednesday show at least six B-2 Spirit stealth bombers now stationed at Diego Garcia in the Indian Ocean—an unusually significant deployment amid the ongoing campaign in Yemen and rising tensions with Iran.
According to the Houthis, the airstrike targeted a water facility in Al-Mansuriyah district, south of Hodeidah.
The intensified U.S. air campaign in Yemen directed by President Donald Trump, aimed at targeting the Houthis over what his administration describes as their attacks on ships in Middle Eastern waters, has so far resulted in at least 65 deaths, according to casualties toll released by the Houthis.
The campaign shows no signs of slowing down, as Trump administration continues to link airstrikes on Iran-backed Houthis to broader pressure on Iran over its rapidly advancing nuclear program. While the administration has yet to provide detailed information about the campaign and its objectives, White House Press Secretary Caroline Levitt estimated on Tuesday that the total number of strikes had surpassed 200.
Levitt stated, “Iran has been significantly weakened as a result of these attacks, and we have seen key Houthi leaders taken out. We have eliminated important figures who were launching strikes on naval and commercial vessels, and this operation will not stop until freedom of navigation in the region is fully restored.”
