Intense US Airstrikes Rock Sana’a

Yemen Monitor/Sana’a/Exclusive:

US forces launched intense airstrikes on Thursday night/Friday morning targeting various areas of the Yemeni capital Sana’a, which is under Houthi control.

Houthi-affiliated media reported that the American aggression warplanes targeted the capital Sana’a with several airstrikes.

Meanwhile, local residents told “Yemen Monitor” that the airstrikes targeted areas near 60th Street North in central Sana’a, as well as in the Saref and Sana’a airport vicinity, and the vicinity of the Ministry of Defense.

Earlier, Houthi media reported that airstrikes targeted the Jarban area in the Sanhan district with 4 strikes.

On Wednesday evening, the Houthi group said that US warplanes carried out 15 airstrikes on Sana’a.

On March 15th of this year, US President Donald Trump announced that he had ordered his country’s army to launch a “major attack against the Houthi group in Yemen,” before threatening to “completely eliminate the Houthis.”
