Yemen Monitor / Washington / Exclusive:

U.S. President Donald Trump stated on Wednesday that military attacks against the Houthis in Yemen will continue for an extended period.

Speaking at the White House, Trump claimed that the Houthis are “now desperate for peace because we are hitting them hard,” emphasizing that U.S. strikes against the group have been successful.

“We have dealt severe blows to the Houthis,” he added.

Trump also addressed the recent Atlantic magazine leak regarding discussions on Houthi attacks in the Signal app, stating that National Security Advisor Mike Waltz is responsible for the security breach.
