Houthi media reported that the US targeted Sana’a Governorate in northern Yemen on Tuesday with at least 10 airstrikes.
According to sources for Yemen Monitor US airstrikes targeted military sites in southern Sana’a with 4 strikes ,while other 7 airstrikes targeted Bany Hushaish northeast of the governorate.
Other sources said that US warplane targeted the custom building in Sana’a airport, no reported casualties until the writing of the report.
In recent days, US aircraft have intensified their airstrikes on various areas of Sana’a Governorate, which is considered the main their capital and their economic state.
Last Saturday, US President Donald Trump announced that he had ordered his country’s army to launch a “major offensive” against the group in Yemen in response to its attacks in the Red Sea and international waters.
