The Minister of Interior in the Yemeni government, Ibrahim Haidan, approved on Tuesday the security plan for Eid al-Fitr 2025.
The plan aims to enhance security and stability, reduce crimes and non-criminal incidents, and secure Eid festivities while protecting citizens in the temporary capital, Aden, as well as in liberated provinces.
According to the official Yemeni News Agency, the Interior Minister directed all security agencies, units, and police departments in the provinces to raise their readiness and maintain heightened vigilance. He emphasized the need to take necessary measures to strengthen security, ensure stability, and respond swiftly to any incidents that may affect public safety.
Minister Haidan also praised the efforts of security forces and the police during the past period, particularly during the holy month of Ramadan. He highlighted the successes achieved through the implementation of the monthly security plan, which contributed to reinforcing security and stability across various areas.
Furthermore, Haidan commended the ongoing cooperation and coordination between security forces, military zones, and the army in all liberated provinces and regions. He stressed the importance of joint efforts in maintaining security and stability in the country.
