U.S.: We Have Killed the Houthis’ Missile Expert

Yemen Monitor / Washington / Agencies:
U.S. National Security Advisor Mike Waltz stated on Sunday that the US military campaign in Yemen, which began over a week ago, has so far succeeded in eliminating key Houthi leaders, including the group’s top missile expert.
The U.S. military has released only limited details about the operations it launched following Houthi threats to resume attacks on shipping vessels in the Red Sea. The Houthis claim their actions are in response to aid blockades and aggression against Gaza.
“We have struck their headquarters, communications centers, weapons factories, and even some facilities for producing unmanned boats and drones,” Waltz told CBS News.
He warned the Houthis of an even larger and more impactful campaign in the coming phase.
Waltz did not disclose the identity of the killed missile expert or provide further details about other senior leaders killed in the strikes.
