Houthi-affiliated media reported on Sunday that US airstrikes targeted military sites of the group in the capital, Sana’a.
The group’s Al-Masirah TV stated that US aircraft targeted a building in a residential neighborhood in the Asr area of Maeen district in Sana’a.
In recent days, US aircraft have intensified their airstrikes on various areas of Saada governorate, which is considered the main stronghold of the Houthi armed group’s leader.
Last Saturday, US President Donald Trump announced that he had ordered his country’s military to launch a “major offensive” against the group in Yemen in response to its attacks in the Red Sea and international waters.
