U.S. Airstrikes in Yemen Eliminate Senior Houthi Figures, Says White House Official

Yemen Monitor / Newsroom:
According to White House National Security Advisor Mike Waltz, a series of U.S. airstrikes in Yemen over the past week has targeted and eliminated key Houthi leaders, including the group’s leading missile expert.
In an interview with CBS News, Waltz refrained from disclosing the identity of the missile specialist or providing further details on other high-ranking members allegedly killed in the attacks.
The airstrikes, which have struck some of Yemen’s most war-torn regions, have resulted in at least 53 fatalities.
“We’ve targeted their headquarters, communication hubs, weapons manufacturing sites, and even some of their maritime drone production facilities,” Waltz stated, emphasizing that the operation has dealt a major setback to the Houthis.
