Intense US Airstrikes on Hodaidah Airport in Western Yemen

Yemen Monitor / Newsroom:
On Saturday night into Sunday, US fighter jets launched intense airstrikes on Hodaidah International Airport in western Yemen, according to Houthi-affiliated media.
The Houthi-run Al-Masirah channel reported that “US fighter jets targeted Hodaidah International Airport with three airstrikes.” However, no details were provided regarding damages or casualties.
For several days, US aircraft have intensified their strikes on various areas of Saada province, the stronghold of the leader of the armed Houthi group.
Last Saturday, US President Donald Trump announced that he had ordered his military to carry out a “major attack” against the group in Yemen in response to their attacks in the Red Sea and international waters.
