U.S. Airstrikes Continue on Saada, Houthi Stronghold

Yemen Monitor/Newsroom:
U.S. fighter jets launched a new bombardment on Friday evening, targeting Saada governorate (northern Yemen).
According to Houthi-affiliated media, the U.S. airstrikes targeted the Saqin district, west of Saada governorate, without further details.
For several days, U.S. aircraft have intensified their raids on various areas of Saada governorate, which is considered the main stronghold of the Houthi armed group’s leader.
Last Saturday, U.S. President Donald Trump announced that he had ordered his country’s military to launch a “major offensive” against the group in Yemen in response to its attacks in the Red Sea and international waters.
