Hebrew Media: Washington Asked “Israel” Not to Respond to Houthi Missiles

Hebrew media reported that the US has requested the Israeli occupation not to respond to the missiles launched by the Houthis toward “Israel.”

According to Israel’s Channel 12, “Israel,” at Washington’s request, has decided not to retaliate against the Houthi missiles and to rely on the US response instead.

Meanwhile, Al Jazeera quoted a U.S. official as saying that President Donald Trump’s administration “asked Israel not to respond to the Houthis, but we don’t know how long the Israelis will comply.”

Earlier on Thursday, the Israeli occupation army announced the activation of sirens in several areas after intercepting a missile launched from Yemen—the second such attack since the resumption of aggression against Gaza.

According to Channel 12, the missile was intercepted before entering Israeli airspace. Sources also reported that flights at Ben Gurion Airport in Tel Aviv were suspended following the Yemeni missile launch.

Explosions were also heard in settlements near Hebron in the occupied West Bank after sirens were activated there, and alarms were sounded in occupied Jerusalem, according to Agence France-Presse (AFP).

It’s worth mentioned that, On Tuesday, the Houthis fired a hypersonic missile at southern “Israel.”
