The Houthi-version of “Saba” news agency reported that “on Wednesday, in the capital Sana’a, the bodies of Colonel Zein Al-Abidin Al-Mohatwari, Major Ali Al-Habari, Major Saleh Al-Ashwal, Captain Awad Ali Awad, and Captain Mohammed Ghanem were mourned.”
It added that “First Lieutenant Nour Al-Din Ghanem, First Lieutenant Jihad Subaih, First Lieutenant Abdul Majeed Al-Marwi, Second Lieutenant Abdul Aziz Al-Habari, Second Lieutenant Hussam Al-Balali, Second Lieutenant Ibrahim Ghanem, Second Lieutenant Adham Al-Muqri, Second Lieutenant Hisham Al-Mahdi, Second Lieutenant Mohammed Al-Barihi, Second Lieutenant Fadl Al-Muaini, and Assistant Ghaith Talal were also mourned.”
The group explained that its members “were martyred in the battle of the Promised Conquest and Holy Jihad,” referring to the US airstrikes on Yemen.
US President Donald Trump announced on Saturday that he ordered his country’s army to launch a “major attack” against the Houthis in Yemen.
Since then until Tuesday evening, dozens of US airstrikes on Yemen have resulted in the death of 53 people and the injury of 107 others, including women and children, according to Houthi data.
