“War Wounded in Yemen: Between Care and Support” – A Ramadan Evening in Marib

Deputy Chairman of the Shura Council, Abdullah Abu Al-Ghaith, emphasized that the political leadership is giving great attention to the issue of wounded and disabled individuals in recognition of their immense sacrifices for the nation.

He made these remarks during a Ramadan evening event organized by the National Association for the Wounded and Disabled in the city of Marib.

Abu Al-Ghaith stated that the political leadership is committed to providing care for the wounded and disabled, working to improve their health and living conditions. He also conveyed the greetings of His Excellency Dr. Rashad Al-Alimi, Chairman of the Presidential Leadership Council.

For his part, Ahmed Saif Al-Rimal, President of the National Association for the Wounded and Disabled, affirmed that the wounded and disabled have displayed heroic sacrifices on various battlefronts and deserve all forms of support and care. He called for the full implementation of government decisions related to their welfare.

The event also underscored the need to strengthen local and international efforts to care for and rehabilitate the wounded and disabled, as well as to find sustainable solutions that meet their needs and facilitate their reintegration into society.
