New “Intense” U.S. Airstrikes on Saada, Northern Yemen

Yemen Monitor / Newsroom:
Houthi-affiliated media reported early Wednesday that U.S. warplanes launched new airstrikes on sites and targets in three Yemeni provinces, including Saada, the main stronghold of the leader of the armed Houthi group.
According to Houthi media and local residents, U.S. fighter jets carried out multiple airstrikes on the Tukhya area in Majz district of Saada province in the north of the country. Other strikes targeted the Asa’id area in the Al-Safra district of the same province.
Additionally, U.S. warplanes launched airstrikes on the Bahis area in Midi district of Hajjah province (western Yemen).
American aircraft also targeted the Al-Ahli Club building in Al-Mina district, located in Hudaydah (western Yemen), with two airstrikes.
Last Saturday, U.S. President Donald Trump announced that he had ordered his country’s military to launch a “major attack” against the group in Yemen in response to their attacks in the Red Sea and international waters.
