Yemen Monitor / Al-Hudaydah / Exclusive:

Houthi media reported on Monday that U.S. airstrikes targeted  Al-Salif district in Al-Hudaydah province, western Yemen.

A local source stated that the strikes hit Al-Habashi Iron Factory in the coastal district, noting that the attack occurred when no workers or personnel were inside the facility.

As of now, no official statements have been issued regarding the details of these airstrikes.

On Sunday night and early Monday, sources reported that U.S. airstrikes targeted several areas in the coastal province, including strikes in Zabid district and attacks on several Yemeni islands off the coast of Al-Hudaydah.

Early Monday, the Houthis claimed they targeted a U.S. aircraft carrier in the northern Red Sea for the second time within 24 hours.

Earlier on Monday, U.S. President Donald Trump declared that Iran “will be held responsible for every shot fired” by the Iran-backed Houthi rebels, who have been attacking commercial ships off Yemen’s coast for more than a year.
