Houthi media: U.S. airstrikes target the command tower of the seized ship “Galaxy Leader”

Yemen Monitor/Newsroom:
The armed Houthi group announced that US aircraft launched two airstrikes targeting the command tower of the detained ship “Galaxy Leader.”
The Houthi group detained the “Galaxy Leader” ship due to its connection to “Israel,” along with its crew of 25, on November 19, 2023, before releasing the crew last month through Omani mediation.
US Defense Secretary Pete Hegseth said that the US will launch “relentless” strikes against the Houthis until they stop their military operations targeting US interests and global shipping traffic off the Red Sea.
He added in statements to Fox News, “We do not care about what is happening in the Yemeni civil war, but rather about stopping the targeting of a vital waterway.”
In the same context, health authorities in Sana’a said that the toll of US airstrikes on Yemeni governorates has risen to 53 dead, including 5 children and two women, and 98 injured, including 9 children and 9 women.
Earlier, the Houthi military spokesman announced the targeting of the aircraft carrier Truman, noting that Washington had launched more than 170 airstrikes on various regions of Yemen throughout the past night.
