Houthi Media: New Airstrikes Target Sana’a

Yemen Monitor/Sana’a/Special:
The Houthi group announced this Saturday evening that new airstrikes targeted separate areas of the capital, Sana’a.
The Houthi version of Yemeni news agency “Saba” said that a new aggression targeted the capital, Sana’a, this evening, without further details.
Additionally, local residents said that violent airstrikes targeted the Al-Jurraf and airport areas.
For its part, the “New York Times” newspaper quoted an American official as saying that the US has begun carrying out military strikes against Houthi-controlled targets in Yemen.
The American official pointed out that “the strikes ordered by Trump in Yemen targeted radars, air defenses, missile systems, and drones.”
He explained that the strikes in Yemen aim to open international shipping lanes in the Red Sea, which the Houthis disrupted.
On Wednesday, the Houthi group said it would resume banning the passage of ships in the Red Sea, the Arabian Sea, Bab al-Mandab Strait, and the Gulf of Aden.
