Yemeni Army: A Soldier Killed, Others Injured in Clashes with Houthis in Marib Fronts

Yemen Monitor / Newsroom:
The Yemeni legitimate army forces announced on Tuesday that a soldier was killed and several others were injured in clashes with the Houthis on the fronts of Marib province (northeastern Yemen).
According to September Net, the army’s official news site, the clashes took place in the Raghwan front in northern Marib and the southern fronts of the province. The fighting resulted in the death of one soldier and the injury of six others from government forces, while an unspecified number of Houthi militia members were killed or wounded.
In Al-Jawf province, Houthi shelling continued on army positions using artillery and drones, though no details were provided regarding the casualties from these attacks.
This escalation follows a noticeable increase in Houthi military operations across several fronts in Marib and Al-Jawf. Observers see this as an attempt to reignite military conflict in the country after nearly two years of an undeclared ceasefire.
