The Yemeni Prime Minister Directs the Monitoring of Commodity Supply and Price Control

The Yemeni Prime Minister, Ahmed Awad bin Mubarak, has directed local authority leaders in the liberated provinces to intensify efforts to improve services and alleviate the living conditions of citizens, amidst the significant challenges they face.

These directives came during phone calls made by the Prime Minister with the governors of several liberated provinces, where he listened to the latest updates on local conditions.

He also stressed the importance of monitoring the supply and pricing situation of essential goods, especially with the arrival of the holy month of Ramadan.

Bin Mubarak affirmed the government’s full support to local authorities in these efforts, noting that the government is working to enhance its capacity to cope with the burdens left by the war ignited by the Houthi militia and the repercussions it has caused in the lives of citizens.

Bin Mubarak expressed his complete understanding of the citizens’ hardships, emphasizing the importance of continuous coordination with the government to overcome the existing challenges.

The Prime Minister also emphasized the necessity of focusing on urgent priorities in the service sectors and establishing security and stability, which would positively impact the lives of citizens during these extraordinary circumstances.
