Saudi Foreign Minister: “MASAM” Project Has Contributed to the Removal of Over 430,000 Mines in Yemen

Saudi Foreign Minister Faisal bin Farhan affirmed today, Monday, that the Kingdom has launched relief campaigns to assist affected countries, most notably in Gaza, Yemen, and Sudan.
This came in his speech at the beginning of the Riyadh International Humanitarian Forum, held in the Saudi capital under the slogan “Exploring the Future of Humanitarian Response.”
According to the Saudi Press Agency (SPA): Bin Farhan reviewed the aid provided by the Kingdom, explaining that the total humanitarian and relief aid provided by the Kingdom exceeded $133 billion, benefiting more than 172 countries.
He pointed to the initiatives launched by the Kingdom to support affected peoples, including the popular campaign to aid Palestinians, which raised more than 700 million riyals in donations, in addition to the “MASAM” project for mine clearance in Yemen, which has contributed to the removal of more than 430,000 mines since 2018.
