Nine Houthis Killed and Injured in Clashes with Yemeni Army in Northern of the Country

The Yemeni army announced, on Tuesday evening, the killing and wounding of nine Houthi members in violent clashes in Al-Jawf Governorate, in the northeast of the country.

The army’s media center quoted a military source as saying that “army forces thwarted an infiltration attempt carried out by the Houthi group in the Qanaw front, east of Bir Al-Maraziq in Al-Jawf Governorate, northeastern Yemen.”

He confirmed that “army units monitored the movements of militia elements near their positions, and dealt with them firmly with various medium and light weapons, which led to the outbreak of violent clashes that lasted for hours.”

The confrontations resulted in the death of four enemy elements and the injury of five others, in addition to the destruction of a military vehicle belonging to them.
