“Security Committee” in Taiz Discusses Enhancing Readiness and Organizing Conditions During Ramadan

The Security Committee in Taiz Governorate (southwest Yemen) discussed on Tuesday, in a meeting chaired by Governor Nabil Shamsan, the military and security situation and issues and plans related to the conduct of affairs during the holy month of Ramadan.

During the meeting, Shamsan stressed the need to raise security and military readiness during the holy month, and to coordinate with the local authority and executive offices to control security and remove violations, in addition to controlling militants not assigned to official military tasks.

The governor stressed the cooperation of security services with the competent authorities in organizing markets and preventing slums, and implementing the decision of the Security Committee to prevent the entry of gas systems that violate cars.

The committee reviewed the security and military developments, as well as the security and supply plans for the holy month of Ramadan, including the traffic plan, gas, price control and the role of security services to implement decisions in this aspect, in addition to discussing procedures for numbering cars and motorcycles, and removing informal markets and violations and stalls that hinder traffic.

The Security Committee approved a number of measures, most notably the speeding up of the numbering of cars and motorcycles, and cooperation between security services and directorates to remove violations, in addition to a number of decisions related to the implementation of plans to strengthen security and stability in the governorate.
