Qatar Affirms its Commitment to Supporting Yemen’s Unity and Stability

The State of Qatar affirmed on Monday its commitment to achieving security and supporting the unity and stability of Yemen.
This came during a meeting between the Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs and Expatriate Affairs, Ambassador Mustafa Ahmed Numan, and the Minister of State for Foreign Affairs of the State of Qatar, Sultan bin Sa’ad Al-Muraikhi.
The meeting, which took place on the sidelines of the Indian Ocean Conference held in Muscat, discussed bilateral relations between the two brotherly countries and ways to enhance them, as well as developments in our country.
According to the website of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Numan praised the positions of the State of Qatar in supporting the Yemeni people and its constant keenness to achieve peace and stability in Yemen.
He also valued the role of the Qatari government and the Qatar Development Fund in their developmental and humanitarian interventions that contribute to alleviating the suffering of the Yemeni people.
For his part, the Qatari Minister of State for Foreign Affairs reiterated his country’s commitment to supporting efforts to achieve security, preserve the unity and stability of Yemen, and provide development assistance to the Yemeni people.
