Houthis Leader vows Military Action if US and “Israel” Attack Gaza

Yemen Monitor/Newsroom:
The leader of the Houthi group, Abdul Malik al-Houthi, said on Thursday that the group would take immediate military action if the US and the Israeli occupation launched an attack on the Gaza Strip.
In a speech broadcast on the group’s television, al-Houthi accused Washington of encouraging Tel Aviv to procrastinate and breach its commitments regarding the ceasefire agreement in the Gaza Strip, especially humanitarian ones, such as the entry of tents and caravans to shelter Palestinians.
Al-Houthi also threatened to intervene with missile strikes, drones, naval operations, and other means if the US and Israel proceed with a plan to forcibly displace Palestinians.
He said, “The US is encouraging Israel to violate its commitments and not fulfill them completely, even though they are commitments related to the humanitarian aspect.”
He stressed that “the entry of tents and caravans into Gaza is a fundamental issue because most of the homes and residences in the Strip are completely destroyed.”
Al-Houthi pointed out that “limited and meager quantities of tents have entered, which may meet only 8% of the full need of the Palestinians in Gaza.”
He added that “there is commitment and fulfillment by the Hamas movement and its military wing, the Qassam Brigades, and the resistance factions regarding the entitlements of the first phase of the Gaza agreement, and the Israeli enemy has not fulfilled all the entitlements.”
He also addressed the issue of transferring wounded Palestinians who were agreed to leave Gaza for treatment through the Rafah border crossing with Egypt, saying: “There is Israeli intransigence in this regard as well.”
Regarding the plan to displace Palestinians from Gaza, al-Houthi said, “We will intervene with missile strikes, drones, naval operations, and other means if the US and Israel proceed with this plan by force.”
He continued: “In this case, we will move to fulfill our jihadi responsibility to confront the US and Israeli enemy and support the Palestinian people, as we did in confronting the crime of the century,” referring to the Israeli war of extermination that lasted for nearly 16 months on Gaza Strip.
