The Yemeni army forces announced on Wednesday the destruction of a number of Houthi heavy equipment that they were using to build fortifications and create roads, in the fighting fronts south of Marib Governorate (eastern Yemen).
Military sources told the media center of the Yemeni army that “the army forces succeeded in dealing with hostile operations of the Houthi militias in Ragwan sector of the northern Marib fronts.”
The sources explained that “the Houthi militias used artillery and explosive drones in their attacks, which resulted in the martyrdom of a soldier and the injury of four others from the army heroes during the process of confronting these attacks.”
In the fronts of Al-Jawf Governorate (north), the center reported that the army forces dealt with hostile fire sources of the Houthi militias, inflicting human and material losses on their ranks.
Recently, the armed Houthi group has escalated its attacks against the Yemeni army forces in a number of fighting fronts in the country.
