A government committee in Aden approves 19 applications for Yemeni citizenship

The Yemeni Nationality Committee, during its meeting in the interim capital, Aden, on Thursday, approved 19 applications from applicants for Yemeni nationality, submitted in accordance with the law.
The committee also approved in its meeting a number of topics on the committee’s agenda, as well as a number of recommendations regarding applications for Yemeni nationality, which will be submitted to the Minister of Interior, to be submitted to the President of the Presidential Leadership Council, to issue decisions on them.
The Deputy Minister of Interior, Major General Al-Amiri, affirmed the ministry’s keenness to receive applications for obtaining Yemeni nationality in accordance with the law, stressing the importance of the committee’s commitment to holding its meetings periodically and regularly to decide on the files of applicants for nationality, to serve citizens in extracting their personal identification documents, as well as the committee’s commitment to examining all documents and preparing the submitted files before the committee sessions are held to approve Yemeni nationality, and to facilitate their procedures and transactions.
