Marib Governor Orders Investigation into the Death of a Prisoner

The Deputy Chairman of the Presidential Leadership Council and Governor of Marib Governorate, Sheikh Sultan bin Ali Al-Aradah, has directed the formation of an investigation committee into the death of prisoner Rashed Issa Al-Hattem in the Political Security Prison in Marib Governorate.
The committee consists of:
- Major General Abdulhamid Qasim Al-Hamadi, Deputy Minister of Interior
- Sinan Muqbil Jar’oun, Undersecretary of Al-Bayda Governorate for Rada’a Districts Affairs
- Judge Aref Al-Mekhlafi, Head of the Appellate Prosecution in Marib and Al-Jawf Governorate
- Hussein Al-Hulaissi, Director of the Research Department in Marib Governorate
- Abdullah Salem Al-Abdali, Deputy Director General of the Police in Al-Bayda Governorate
- Abdulrabbu Hulis, Representative of the Local Authority in Marib Governorate
- Sheikh Qaid Muqbil Al-Hattam, Representative of the Blood Relatives
- A representative of the Military Intelligence
According to local sources, the relatives of the prisoner Al-Hattam have agreed to the committee formed by Major General Al-Aradah.
Al-Hattam died inside one of the prisons in Marib City after being arrested for appearing in a video repeating the slogan of the Houthi group.
