Yemeni army forces announced on Tuesday that they had thwarted about 18 attacks and infiltration attempts by Houthi militants during a month in Taiz fronts (southwest of the country).
According to the media center of Taiz Military Axis, “the army’s operations in repelling those attacks took place during the past January.”
The center pointed out that “those attacks resulted in the death of four Houthis and the injury of 6 others, in addition to downing a drone in Dhubab front west of the city and damaging a 12/7 caliber machine gun on the eastern front of the city.”
According to the same source, the Houthi group has created new fortifications in 20 locations on the battle fronts in the governorate.
Recently, the Houthi group has sent large military reinforcements to the battle fronts in the governorates of “Taiz, Marib and Al-Bayda”.
