Yemeni Security Forces  Announce the Arrest of Two Soldiers Accused of Killing a Restaurant Worker in Abyan

Security authorities in Abyan Governorate, southern Yemen, announced on Thursday that they had arrested two soldiers from the STC forces who killed a person working in a restaurant in the governorate due to a dispute between them while he was performing his work.

The Security Department said in a press statement that the murder took place this morning in the Al-Hamima area of the Mudiyah District, where two soldiers belonging to the Third Support and Assistance Brigade committed the crime.

Immediately after the incident, the leadership of the Third Support and Assistance Brigade (affiliated with the STC forces) arrested the two soldiers, after coordination between the governorate security leadership and the brigade leadership to hand over the perpetrators to the district police, according to the statement.

The statement explained that the case procedures have begun, including preparing the investigation records and completing the file to be submitted to the prosecution for legal action.
