Yemen Monitor/Newsroom:

A massive fire broke out late Tuesday/Wednesday in the border region between Yemen and Saudi Arabia.

Local sources said that the fire erupted in an area between Bani Malik in Saudi Arabia and the Manbeh district in Sa’ada Governorate, northern Yemen.

The sources explained that “the fire ignited in the valley separating Bani Malik and Manbeh district as a result of the presence of bags containing flammable materials that were prepared for smuggling into Saudi Arabia.”
