Washington: Iran’s Weakness ”A Concern”
Yemen Monitor/Newsroom:
White House National Security Advisor Jake Sullivan said on Tuesday that Iran’s weakness is “a concern.”
He justified his comment by saying that this “weakness” could push Iran to reconsider its position on nuclear weapons, according to him.
Iran, which is striving to acquire nuclear weapons, appears weak and confused after a series of targeted attacks on a number of its leaders and the most prominent leaders of its arms in the Middle East.
Former CIA adviser Ellen Berman believes that “Iran’s deterrence capabilities have eroded.”
Washington and Western countries express concerns that Iran could be able to produce a nuclear bomb, especially after announcing that it will put new and advanced centrifuges into service.
