Yemen Monitor/ Sana’a:

The Houthi group announced on Sunday that the death toll from the gas stations explosion in Al-Baydha province had risen to 17, with dozens more injured.

Yemen Monitor had previously reported, citing sources, that an explosion had occurred at a gas station and nearby stations in Zahir district of central Yemen’s Al-Baydha province.

The Health Ministry in the internationally unrecognized Houthi government stated that the number of fatalities and injuries from the gas station explosion had reached 91.

The ministry said that more than 50 cases were in critical condition.

The statement indicated that “the cases were transferred and distributed to hospitals and specialized centers to receive the necessary medical care, and medical, emergency, and civil defense teams are still carrying out their humanitarian role in searching for missing persons.”
