Dozens Killed and Injured in Explosion at Four Gas Stations in Central Yemen

Over 50 people were killed and injured on Saturday in an explosion at four liquefied petroleum gas (LPG) filling stations in Zaher district, Al-Bayda governorate, central Yemen, according to sources speaking to Yemen Monitor.
Sources added that the explosion began with a sudden blast of 20 gas cylinders at one of the stations in the Al-Majrish area of Al-Nasifa sub-district in Zaher district, Al-Bayda governorate.
Local sources reported that the incident triggered explosions at three other domestic gas filling stations.
The incident occurred in areas under Houthi control, and authorities have stated that they are investigating the incident, without providing further details.
