Yemen Monitor/Newsroom/Al-Bayda, Yemen:
Political parties and organizations in Al-Bayda Governorate have strongly condemned the Houthi militia’s crimes against civilians and civilian objects in the Hankat Al Masoud area of Qiffa district in Al-Bayda Governorate.
The political parties in Al-Bayda affirmed that the suffocating siege imposed by the Houthi group on the area, which targeted the homes of civilians and civilian objects with drones and various heavy weapons, is a war crime that cannot be forgotten by the time.
They called on the international community, the United Nations, and the Security Council to intervene urgently and take decisive action against this terrorist group, including designating it as a terrorist organization.
In their statement, the political parties in Al-Bayda said, “This heinous crime is just one of the terrorist Houthi group’s crimes against the people of Al-Bayda Governorate and an extension of the group’s bloody approach in all parts of Yemen. It is also a true reflection of the nature of this militia.”
The political parties and organizations in Al-Bayda held the Houthi group’s leadership fully responsible for these heinous crimes committed against civilians from Al-Bayda Governorate, calling on the Presidential Council and the legitimate government to take a firm and immediate stance and move urgently to liberate Al-Bayda Governorate from this fascist terrorist group that has wreaked havoc and destroyed crops and people.
The political parties appeal to all civil society organizations and activists to document these violations as crimes committed against innocent women and children, crimes that contradict the principles and conventions of human rights.
