WHO Director Suffers Health Issues After Israeli Airstrike on Sana’a Airport
Yemen Monitor/Geneva/Exclusive:
The Director-General of the World Health Organization, Tedros Adhanom Ghebreyesus, has suffered from tinnitus following an Israeli airstrike on Yemen.
The attack took place at Sana’a International Airport last week when Tedros and his team were preparing to board a plane after concluding humanitarian talks in the Yemeni capital.
“I’m fine, but I have tinnitus from the loud explosion. I hope it’s temporary,” Tedros said on X after returning to Geneva.
Israeli occupation forces targeted the infrastructure of Sana’a International Airport last Thursday, causing damage to the control tower, departure lounge, and runway.
