Four Houthi Officers Killed in Clashes with Government Forces

Yemen Monitor/Newsroom:

The Houthi group announced on Saturday the death of four of its officers in clashes with government forces.

The Houthi-controlled Saba News Agency reported that the bodies of Major Sultan Abdullah Al-Mahdi, Captain Muhammad Naji Al-Farja, First Lieutenant Yahya Mane’ Muqbel Al-Waili, and Assistant Ahmed Yahya Al-Shami were laid to rest in the capital, Sana’a.

The agency added that these individuals “fell in the fronts of honor and dignity,” referring to the ongoing confrontations with government forces.

Recently, the Houthi group has escalated its military operations on several battlefronts across the country, following years of an undeclared truce with the internationally recognized Yemeni government forces.
