Israel Intercept a Missile Fired from Yemen
Yemen Monitor/Newsroom:
The Israeli Broadcasting Authority reported that the Israeli military intercepted a missile fired from Yemen early Saturday morning, following a new airstrike on Sana’a, a day after Israel launched attacks on targets in Yemen, including Sana’a International Airport.
The Israeli Broadcasting Authority quoted the military as saying that a missile launched from Yemen was intercepted by air defenses early Saturday morning “before entering” Israeli airspace.
Sirens wailed in central Israel, in accordance with established protocol.
This missile launch came hours after the Yemeni capital was hit by a new strike that followed Israeli airstrikes on Sana’a International Airport and other Houthi-controlled sites.
The Israeli airstrikes on Yemen on Thursday killed six people, four of them at the airport, according to France Press.
