Israeli Airstrikes’ Death Toll Rises in Yemen

The death toll from Israeli airstrikes on Yemen on Thursday has risen to 4 killed and 41 injured, according to a source in the Houthi-controlled Ministry of Health in Sana’a.

The Israeli occupation launched 7 airstrikes on Sana’a International Airport and more than 10 on the ports of Hodeidah Governorate on the coast and the main power station in the same city.

The source told Yemen Monitor that 3 people were killed and more than 20 injured in the airstrikes on Sana’a International Airport, where the main control tower destroyed. Among the injured was a UN co-pilot while a delegation headed by the Director-General of the World Health Organization was about to leave.

The source added that one person was killed and more than 16 were injured in the targeting of Ras Issa oil port, and 4 were injured in Ras al-Kathib power station in Hodeidah city.

The source spoke to Yemen Monitor on condition of anonymity.
