Protests in Yemeni Cities in Support of Gaza and Celebrating the “Syrian Revolution”

Yemen Monitor/ Newsroom:

Several Yemeni cities witnessed massive demonstrations affirming continued solidarity with the Gaza Strip and expressing joy and celebration over the victory of the Syrian revolution and the fall of Al-Assad regime.

Following Friday prayers, the cities of Marib (east) and Taiz (southwest) saw large-scale protests in solidarity with the Palestinian people, who are subjected to a war of extermination waged by the Israeli occupation for over a year, and in support of the Syrian people and their victories over the Iranian tutelage regime.

The demonstrators condemned the genocide being committed against Gaza as a result of the continued brutal Israeli missile bombardment of displacement camps and renewed calls on the international community to assume its historical and humanitarian responsibilities to stop the daily massacres committed by the occupation.

They also denounced the Israeli aggression against Syrian lands and the incursion into its villages and mountains, rejecting the Zionist entity’s exploitation of the stage Syria is going through after the overthrow of the oppressive and tyrannical regime by the revolutionaries.

The participants in the demonstrations also congratulated the Syrian people on their victory and the demise of Al-Assad regime, which committed atrocities for decades.

They appreciated the sacrifices of the Syrian people in their quest for liberation from Iranian tutelage and its criminal machine that tyrannized Syrians for years.

The participants in the demonstrations called on the Presidential Leadership Council and the government to mobilize efforts and energies to complete the purging of Yemen from the Iranian militia.

They called on Arab countries to stand by the Palestinian people to stop the genocide and support the Syrian people in achieving their aspirations and building their future.

Sana’a, Ibb, and other Yemeni governorates also witnessed massive demonstrations in support of the Palestinian people and their resistance, with participants raising banners bearing slogans condemning US support for the occupation.
