Al-Alimi: After Al-Assad’s Fall, It’s Time for Iran to lift its Hand off Yemen
Yemen Monitor/Newsroom:
Yemeni Presidential Leadership Council Chairman Rashad Muhammad al-Alimi said on Sunday that it is time for the Iranian regime to remove its hand from Yemen, respect its sovereignty and identity, and empower its people to build their country and create a better future that they all deserve.
This came as he congratulated the Syrian people on the fall of the Assad regime and their country’s return to the Arab fold and its constructive presence in the regional and international community.
In a tweet on his X platform page, the Chairman of the Presidential Leadership Council praised this historic moment, in which the Syrian people affirmed their right to reject foreign Iranian guardianship.
The Syrian armed opposition announced the fall of the Al-Assad regime and the entry of its forces into the capital Damascus early Sunday morning, culminating in a series of rapid victories achieved in recent days in succession in Aleppo, Hama, and then Homs.
