Israeli Army Intercepts Missile Fired by Houthis from Yemen
Yemen Monitor/Newsroom:
The Israeli army announced on Saturday that it had intercepted a missile fired from Yemen.
Israeli army spokesman Avichay Adraee said in a brief statement on Twitter: “The Israeli air force intercepted a missile launched from Yemen about an hour ago before it entered Israeli airspace, and no sirens were activated.”
This incident comes after the Houthi group in Yemen claimed to have launched a ballistic missile at Israel earlier this week.
On Sunday, the Houthi military spokesman Yahya Saree announced that the group had targeted “a vital site in the occupied Jaffa area with a hypersonic missile named Palestine 2.”
