Protests In Yemeni Cities Denouncing The Ongoing Israeli Genocide In Gaza

Yemen Monitor/Special Report:

Most Yemeni cities witnessed massive demonstrations reaffirming their solidarity with Gaza Strip and condemning the ongoing Israeli atrocities against the people of Gaza.

In the city of Marib (eastern Yemen), a solidarity Protest was held in the city center to express support for the Palestinian people and denounce the crimes of the Israeli occupation in Gaza.

Hundreds of citizens came out after Friday prayers to participate in the solidarity protest condemning the crimes of the occupation in Gaza for over a year.

The protest condemned the brutal genocidal crimes committed by the Israeli occupation against the Palestinian people in Gaza Strip with US support.

The capital, Sana’a, and 14 other cities under Houthi control also witnessed renewed protests condemning the crimes of the Israeli occupation in Gaza Strip.

Thousands of demonstrators denounced “the ongoing genocide being perpetrated by the Zionist entity in Gaza Strip, with full US participation and support, as well as some European and Western countries.”

With US support, Israel has been committing genocide in Gaza since October 7, 2023, resulting in over 150,000 Palestinian casualties, including mostly children and women, and over 11,000 missing persons, amidst widespread destruction and a famine that has killed dozens of children and elderly people, in one of the world’s worst humanitarian crises.

Tel Aviv continues its massacres, disregarding the arrest warrants issued by the International Criminal Court on November 21 against Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu and former Defense Minister Yoav Gallant, on charges of war crimes and crimes against humanity against Palestinians in Gaza.

Israel also defies the UN Security Council’s resolution to immediately end the war and the orders of the International Court of Justice to take measures to prevent acts of genocide and improve the catastrophic humanitarian situation in Gaza.
