Al-Alimi: National and Arab Unity is the Guarantee for Restoring the Yemeni State
Yemen Monitor / Newsroom:
Rashad Al-Alimi, the Head of the Presidential Leadership Council in Yemen, affirmed on Friday that the unity of national and Arab ranks is the way and the guarantee to end Iran’s occupation of part of the country (referring to the Houthi coup).
This statement was made in a tweet on his account via the platform “X” on the occasion of the 57th anniversary of independence on November 30, marking the departure of the last British soldier from South Yemen on November 30, 1967.
Al-Alimi stated, “The anniversary of independence on November 30 comes at a time when the people, along with their armed forces, security, and all military formations, as well as their community forces of both men and women, are engaged in a decisive battle against the projects of Imamate, racism, and terrorism.”
He added, in a congratulatory message to the Yemeni people on the occasion of the glorious November 30 Liberation Day, “We have learned from this immortal day lessons that overflow with hope and the inevitability of victory, and that patience, sacrifices, and the unity of national and Arab ranks are the sure way to realize our people’s aspirations for restoring state institutions, overthrowing the coup, and ending the Iranian occupation of a precious part of our land.”
