Protests in Yemeni Cities in Support of Gaza
Yemen Monitor/Special Monitoring:
Thousands gathered in several Yemeni cities on Friday to support Gaza and condemn international silence towards the genocidal crimes committed by the occupation against the Palestinian people.
In the governorate of Marib (east), hundreds gathered in a protest, calling on the free world to assume its responsibilities towards saving the people of the Gaza Strip from starvation and killing.
In the city of Taiz (southwest), thousands demonstrated after Friday prayers to condemn the Arab and international silence towards the war of annihilation against the people of the Gaza Strip.
In the city of Seiyun in Hadhramaut Governorate, a massive mass rally was organized in solidarity with the people of Gaza and the West Bank, where the participants hailed the legendary steadfastness of the Palestinian resistance against the Zionist occupation machine.
The participants in the rally called for opening the crossings of the Gaza Strip and allowing the entry of humanitarian aid, providing water, food, and shelter for the residents.
The demonstrators also called for the need to implement the International Criminal Court and prosecute war criminals, at the top of whom is the Prime Minister of the occupation entity, Netanyahu, and to stop the bloody crimes against the Palestinians.
They affirmed that the international community’s silence on Zionist crimes encourages the occupation army to continue committing genocide against the Palestinian people.
The demonstrators also affirmed their solidarity and standing with the Palestinians in the Gaza Strip, which has been under a cruel siege and violent bombardment for more than a year, calling on the countries of the world to move to stop the war of annihilation and hold the occupation leaders accountable.
In Sana’a, which is under Houthi control, a mass demonstration was held under the slogan “Congratulations to Lebanon and with Gaza until victory and the occupation’s demise,” affirming the continuation of support for the Palestinian people and their valiant resistance.
According to the Houthi version of the Saba agency, the demonstrators renewed their affirmation of the continued principled and steadfast position of the Yemeni people in supporting and backing the Palestinian people and the resistance fighters in Gaza and the occupied Palestinian territories until achieving victory and defeating the criminal Zionist entity.
