Taiz Police Arrest Suspects Wanted for Thefts

The security forces of Taiz Governorate (southwest Yemen) announced on Saturday the arrest of two individuals wanted in connection with theft cases.
Colonel Mohammed Al-Alawi, director of the 26th of September Police Station, explained that the suspects were apprehended after a meticulous investigation and surveillance operation.
He indicated that the police station had received several reports from street vendors on Al-Tahrir Al-A’la Street regarding the theft of their merchandise. Upon receiving these reports, we immediately initiated procedures to gather information, conduct investigations, and search for the suspects involved in the case. Their identities were eventually revealed after the case had been initially classified as unsolved.”
He added that the suspects were arrested and detained to complete legal procedures before being referred to the competent authorities.
